How does website management work?
Simple. I run your website for you, in accordance with your instructions regarding updates and changes.

What kind of changes to my website can I get?
Website changes are limited to basic updates only, such as an information update, change of images and corrections. It does not include restructuring of a page or your website. Generally speaking, you will get around three hours of website updates in a twelve month period, according to your website's anniversary date. This equates to around fifteen minutes a month.

Does any of my unused update time roll over into the next year?
No. Your year starts and finishes according to your website's anniversay date and any unused update time is non cumulative.

How quickly will you update my website?
Usually within twenty-four hours of receiving your written request to make any changes. This does not necessarily include weekends or public holidays. All request for changes or updates must be made in writing, preferably by email.

How will I know when you're going to update my website?
I will always acknowledge receipt of your instructions by return email, which is not automated. I'll email you when I receive your instructions and again to advise you that we have made the required updates.

What if I go over my allocated three hours per year?
You can either buy another three hours of updates for $181.50* or I can charge and invoice you $60.50* per hour or part thereof, each time that I have to update your website. If you opt for a casual rate, then I will give you a firm quote before beginning your update.

What if I want some major reconstruction work done to my website?
Basically, if it isn't a repair job or a simple update, I have to charge you $83.00* per page for a brand new page. If it is a simple repair job, then it's $65 per hour. For major work or website restructure, then you should visit the website build section

How much notice do I need to give for a major update?
Generally as much notice as possible. Lead times for commencement of jobs varies, but I always endeavour to get jobs done quickly. I hate backlogs of work, so I do everything possible to get your job done swiftly and properly.
