• These terms are current at the time of posting and are subject to change at any time without notice.
• The A.B.N of Australian Websites and Ozwwweb is 23 668 693 517. I am registered for GST
• I will commence building a client's website within seven days of getting the go ahead in
writing by email. In giving me the go ahead to commence a website job, the client
acknowledges having read, understood and agree with these trading terms.
• I will give a written quotation to a client upon request.
• Each managed website package, either single page or two to five page, shall include
application to the website of graphics and text as supplied by the client to me; graphic
manipulation as required and typography application as required. Each package also
includes loading the website on to an Australian Websites/Ozwwweb Australian-based
webserver; a .com.au or .net.au domain name, webhosting of the client's website for twelve months,as many email accounts as required; disc space within the server and
monthly bandwidth usage to sufficiently accomodate the requirements of the client shall be
provided at all times. Three hours of website updates per twelve months shall be applied to
each package. The update period shall be calculated from the start date of the website to
the anniversary date. Unused update time shall not roll-over into the next period and will
expire at the end of each anniversary.
• A standard web page in each package, shall be no larger than 1,000 pixels wide and 1,200
pixels high and shall have up to six images displayed.
• A page shall consist of just one single page without add-ons or sub-pages. The replacement of the contents of an existing page with new content shall be considered as being a new page and as such, will be chargeable.
• I allow forty five days from the date of commencement of the job to get each website
job completed. If by that time, I’ve done all that I can with what the client has supplied me
and the website job has stalled because I'm waiting on the customer to supply
information, then the client will be billed for the whole job and all work done on the website project from that point on, will be deducted from the client's allotted three hours per year of uncharged updates.
• Ownership of the website - once paid for, will belong to the client, who is free to take the
website wherever they want. The same goes for the domain name. It all belongs to the
client. I’m just the caretaker of everything as I only build and then manage it for the client.
No refund of website building or website hosting fees will be payable whatsoever in the
event of a client taking their website elsewhere for hosting and/or management.
• No deposit is required prior to commencement of any website package, but payment is
required within seven days of the date of any invoice for work done.
• An account will be deemed as being overdue if payment is not received in my bank account or at my postal address within seven (7) days of the date of the first invoice. No further work or changes will be done to a website until a cleared payment is received.
• I reserve the right to disconnect any website from my webservers in the event that a
website's owner fails to pay my invoice within seven days of an emailed account rendered
notice being sent to the client.
• I reserve the right to charge a $60.00* connection fee to reconnect any website following a disconnection due to non-payment of any invoice.
• Customers may pay their website off by way of equal monthly payments, but
this must be agreed to before I commence your job and the repayment terms must be
agreed in writing. An $11.00* per month surcharge will apply to each terms payment agreement. In the event that a breach of the agreed terms takes place, I reserve the right
to disconnect the client's website from my webservers and to charge a $55.00* reconnection fee after the arrears have been paid.
• I accept the following means of payment for work done: Money Order, direct deposit to my
business bank account and Visa/Mastercard payments made only via Paypal.
The "How to pay me" section of my website displays all available payment options.
• Certain conditions apply to pricing. All prices quoted are based on a discount being applied
when payment is made by direct deposit to my bank account or by money order. Payments
made by cheque shall be charged at my regular retail price. All invoices will reflect the
difference between the two and will show all price options.
• I don't like being paid by cheque. I much prefer Direct deposit, Money Order or even Credit
Card via PayPal as my favoured method of payment. At invoice, I give two prices - one
for cheque payments and a cheaper price for payments by Direct Deposit or Money Order .
• GST is included in all packages and charges.
• Finally, if you don't agree with any of the above, then please don't get me to do work for
you. I have been stuffed around by too many people over the years to be bothered arguing
about my trading terms or my pricing.
